May 17th - The Salty lake bath

Last night was great ! a bit of rain but the road is dry , so we can gazzzzz until Bishkek...Kyrgystan capital, where we will spend few days to do our Tadjik visa.

But on the way, we spotted a salty lake and it was always in my mind to take a news paper and read it while floating...So lets do it !

On the way, landscape as usual superb. We saw a old lady and of course we have to stop by for a picture...

The farmer was not far away and came to us to say hello...so we took the opportunity to take some pics with them.

In Kyrgyzstan, things are different and we need to used to...People are driving fast with old school cars...Mercedes, Audi 80 and for the richest Audi 100China...In China nobody was passing us but here, impossible to follow them...roads are bad and our bikes suffers a lot.

But people are cool...most of them hearing the powaaaa of the bikes are all giving us big hello signs with hands..We feel like hero ;)

Horses are very useful here and most of the people are riding...We may should do it soon...Must be fun.

On the way to the lake, we have to do some off roads and we encountered real farmers and their donkeys. 

After 12km of off road, finally we reached the lake...

Small lake in the middle of nowhere. So we put our swimming gears on and go for a bath. it was cool, floating like a boat.

So we took some pictures for our partners and Nicolas spent some times to read all the nice comments, you guys wrote on his book during the farewell party in Shanghai...He says thanks to all ;)

The rest of the day was a quick ride until Bishkek ...Roads were super good so we power. A little bit too much and we got a speed ticket. riding at 124km/h instead of 60...Sorry sir but are you sure its not the truck on the picture over speeding ??? no way, we have to give him 1000Som, the equivalent of 4Euro to get back our driving license and gazzzzz again.
